QUALIFIED, PROFESSIONAL
CONTRACTORS AND SKILLED,
CERTIFIED ELECTRICIANS

The Los Angeles County Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 11 represent approximately 300 professional contractors and 8,000 skilled electricians and technicians in the Los Angeles County area. LA NECA and IBEW Local Union 11 work closely together through the Southern California IBEW-NECA Labor-Management Cooperation Committee to provide the most professional contractors and skilled electricians in the construction, telecommunications, transportation, and photovoltaics industries.

Together the two organizations completely own and operate the Electrical Training Institute of Southern California (ETI), one of the nation’s premier higher education centers and leading edge training facilities. The ETI apprenticeship training program includes five years and 9,100 hours of on-the-job training and related classroom instruction. The ETI training program and facility are funded by LA NECA and IBEW Local Union 11 in order to invest in the electrical industry and the future, as well as to ensure the quality and training of the industry’s workforce.

Through their superior training program at the ETI, LA NECA and IBEW Local Union 11 provide safe, reliable, and high quality electrical construction, maintenance, and installation work. Together, LA NECA and IBEW Local Union 11 are the best source for commercial, residential, and industrial projects, as well as for voice-data-video, traffic signal/street lighting, and photovoltaic installations.
